156 R&B works worth Rs 428.36 cr taken up in Poonch district : Syed Altaf Bukhari

Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on behalf of Minister for Works (R&B) informed the House that the government has been taken up 156 works under District/State Plan and PM’s Development Package in Poonch District at an estimated cost of Rs.428.36 crore.Replying to a question by Mr Javid Ahmad Rana, , he said Rs 67.92 crore have been incurred till ending March 2017, while Rs.6.60 crore were released during 2017-18 against these works.  He further informed that the pending work done claims  in the district stand at Rs 22.59 crore.Responding to a specific query, he said that during in Mendhar Constituency 73 works were taken up at an estimated cost of Rs.218.79,  out of which an amount of Rs.31.78 crore was incurred up to March 2017. He said the department released Rs.2.18 crore during the year 2017-18, while the pending work done claims stand at Rs 10.93 crore.
