DDC inspects ongoing works of Bridge at Gudoora

The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama today visited Gudoora and took stock of the pace of work on the bridge over Romushi Nallah which was affected by floods in September 2014.On the occasion, DDC directed executing agency for immediate completion of the bridge for the convenience of the local people so that people living on the two sides of the stream get easy connectivity. He was informed that the bridge would be completed by next year.DDC also inspected the status of ongoing work being executed under prestigious National Highway 444 project which will connect Pulwama District with Srinagar and Qazigund. It will run through 22 villages from Batapora Wanpora to Nikas in Pulwama District. He said project when completed will benefit the people and will give boost to economy.Deputy Commissioner directed the officials of various departments to work in coordination so that projects are completed within the stipulated time.He was accompanied by SE R&B, Tehsildar and other concerned officers.
