Mehbooba Mufti hosts J&K NCC contingent

The J&K NCC Republic Day Contingent called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today.The contingent, comprising 109 cadets, was led by Major General Nilendra Kumar, Additional Director General, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Jammu and Kashmir Directorate.The Chief Minister complimented the contingent for their performance during the Republic Day parade and wished the Contingent high success in the various competitions in which it would be participating in future. She also complimented the officers at the Directorate for training the cadets drawn from different areas of the State.On the occasion, Major General Kumar presented the performance report of J&K Directorate of NCC during the previous year.Brig. A S Kasana; Mrs. Nilendra Kumar; other officers; JCOs and members of the contingent were present on the occasion.
