Residents of Walkul Lolab stages protest against poor Sumo service

Residents of Walkul area of Lolab in north Kashmir's Kupwara district Saturday afternoon staged protest and blocked  sogam-Dorusa road against poor sumo services in the area.The protesters including women and children blocked the Dorusa-Sogam road for hours due to which traffic movement was disrupted for one hour. The protesters were demanding to increase the sumo service on Wani Dorusa-Sogam Route.“We are facing problems due to availability of Poor sumo services on Sogam-Dorusa route. We are forced to walk on foot due to poor sumo service” a protester told PTK.Meanwhile a police team reached the spot to pacify the protestors. Latter protesters disperse peacefully after police assurance and traffic was restored on the route. (PTK)
