24x7 oxygen supply available at Super-Specialty hospital : Asiea Naqash

Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Asiea Naqash today said that the Super Specialty Hospital provides oxygen to the patients through Oxygen Generating Plant backed up by Oxygen cylinders through manifold gas pipe lines on 24x7 basis.Replying to a question of Ramesh Arora, the Minister informed that an amount of Rs. 9.92 lakh has been demanded under Non Plan Head for AMC/CMC of Oxygen Plant.She informed that three generators have been installed in Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu of which only one is used on regular basis while other two are used periodically when the need arises. “Out of five lifts, only two are functional in the Hospital,” she said, adding that the issue of restoration of non-functional lifts would be taken up with the concerned.
