Despite extremly cold weather in Kargil A food festival Mamani  with immensely traditional fervour zeal on Friday. The people in kargil and its adjoining area celebrated the local food festival "Mamani " this day various local foods items include papa,khulaq,marzan, sabkhur,pola,Azouk,etc are prepared and share and eaten on community basis.Mamani is a two three days festival that celebrates every year this day has been practiced by the people of kargil. In the meanwhile various location of kargil district  and its different villages celebrates "Mamani" with traditionally zeal and zest where in men,women and children's participating this food traditional festival been reported.Report suggest that such Mamani food festival were also celebrated at Braoo ,Sankoo, Shargole,Shakar Chiktan and other location have been celebration of Mamani festival with traditionally enthusaism.
