Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary replying to a question of Surinder Mohan Ambardar informed that contamination free drinking water is being supplied in all the transit accommodation in which employees appointed under Prime Minister’s Package are living in Kashmir valley.The Minister informed the House that the department conducts periodic sample testing of water supply schemes as per National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) guidelines including schemes feeding transit camps in Vessu, Veerwan Baramulla, Nutnusa, Hall, Sheikhpora Budgam and Mattan.Giving details, the Minister informed that during the current financial year, the department conducted 58 sample tests of various water supply schemes in Vessu, Veerwan Baramulla, Nutnusa and Hall transit camps.Sofi Yousuf, Girdhari Lal Raina and Javaid Ahmad Mirchal  raised supplementary to the main question.
