Sh. Balwant Thakur, Regional Director,  Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) J&K and Director Natrang, called on Governor N. N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Sh. Thakur apprised the Governor about the activities undertaken by the ICCR Regional Branch Jammu during the past year and the programmes planned to be organized in 2018.  He also informed the Governor about the dramatic performances staged by the Natrang Group with a particular focus on the preservation and promotion of the traditional art forms of the Jammu region.Complimenting Sh. Thakur for his continuing contribution towards strengthening theatre activities in the State, Governor pointed to the usefulness of enlarging the performance of street plays which disseminate powerful social messages and highlight the problems of the common masses.
