MLA Homshalibugh holds awareness programme

MLA Homshalibugh, Advocate Abdul Majeed Larmi today held an awareness programme to educate the general public regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, here today. The officers from various departments informed the public regarding the benefits of various centrally sponsored Schemes. In the programme, people raised various questions regarding the implementation of these schemes, their benefits and problems faced by them.Speaking on the occasion, MLA Advocate Abdul Majeed Larmi said that government has launcheddozens of schemes in various departments like Fisheries, Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural, horticulture and other departments for the unemployed youth but unfortunately people are not fully aware about it. He added that there is a tremendous potential of job avenues in all the centrally sponsored schemes and people especially the youth need to be educated about them. He urged the unemployed youth to come forward and take the maximum benefits out of these schemes. Later, the MLA took the review of the developmental scenario of Homshalibugh Constituency.The awareness programme was attended by the officers of the department of Fisheries, Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Agricultural, Rural Development and other departments.
