Shahnawaz Choudhary, State General Secretary of the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan. Sh. Choudhary apprised Governor about his Party’s views regarding the obtaining political, social and economic scenario in the State and about the urgent requirement for conducting elections to the Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies to foster democratic functioning at the grass root level and ensure rapid development of the State.Governor urged Sh. Choudhary to continue his endeavours to strengthen the functioning of democratic institutions in the State and advancement of communal harmony and brotherhood in the State.
