DC reviews functioning of Revenue Department

Deputy Commissioner  Angrez Singh Rana convened a meeting to review the functioning of Revenue Department, here today.During the meeting, the DC reviewed the progress made under digitization of revenue record, anti-encroachment drives, Jamabandi and girdawari preparations in all tehsils and relief cases.Speaking on the occasion, the DC gave tehsil wise eviction targets to Tehsildars and directed all field functionaries to submit self certifying reports regarding encroachment on khachrai, common land  and state land.He further allocated village wise target for Jamabandi to respective Tehsildars and directed for speeding  up the process of preparation of Jamabandi in all respective Patwar Halqas . He also directed the concerned ACR  and SDMs  to ensure competency in the field works undertaken by field functionaries for efficient public delivery system.Among others ACR Kishtwar,  SDM Padder ,Tehsildars and other revenue officials were present in the meeting.
