DDC reviews status of developmental works

District Development Commissioner Bhawani Rakwal stressed on creating modern infrastructure while ensuring timely completion of developmental projects in the district.DDC said this while chairing a meeting of District and sectoral officers of various line departments to review the status of ongoing developmental works in the district.During the meeting Deputy Commissioner directed all the departments to submit a consolidated report of the works held up for some reasons so that the matter can be taken up with the appropriate authorities for removing the bottlenecks.Directions were given to FCS&CA deptt to ensure timely distribution of the ration especially in rural areas besides AD FCS&CA was asked to personally monitor the distribution process. Education deptt was asked to work out and prepare a list of schools in rural areas with no or minimum staff and make a proposal for rationalisation of staff at the earliest.Xen PHE was directed to submit DPR for permanent restoration of water Pipelines for cloud burst affected people in Thathri on which DDC was informed that DPR is ready and shall be submitted.Further he also reviewed the status of action taken on the directions issued by Deputy Commissioner in previous review meetings and directed all to submit progress report within 2 days. He also directed the district heads to submit the updated MPRs immediately for its updation.The officers present in the meeting included CPO Doda, XEN R&B, PDD, PMGSY, PHE, CMO, DFO besides other officers.
