Government committed to provide transparent and responsive administration to the people

Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister said that State Government was committed to provide transparent and responsive administration to the people of the State and added that  the cases of corruption would be examined thoroughly and guilty would be punished as per law of the land howsoever, influential they may be.  He was addressing a massive rally of PTA teachers at Joravar Stadium Tapovan near Dharamshala today. Chief Minister said that it was duty of elected Government to protect the rights and interests of every section of the society and added that previous BJP Government of the State had acted indifferently to various sections like PTAs.  He said that services of PTA teachers appointed by previous Congress Government were terminated by BJP Government and injustice was met to them. He said that present Government after assuming power constituted  a Committee led by Chief Secretary for regularization of PTA Teachers.Shri Virbhadra Singh said that Congress Government do not believe in the politics of regionalism and casteism and added that Congress had always ensured uniform development of the State.Shri Virbhadra Singh said that previous BJP Government had settled the political scores by framing false cases against political opponents. He said that Sagar Katha and CD cases against him were the glaring example of it and he was exonerated  by the Hon’ble Court  in every case.Earlier, Shri Vivek Mehta, President, PTAs Association welcomed the Chief Minister and thanked him for constituting a Committee for  regularization of PTA Teachers.Shri Prakash Chaudhary, Excise and Taxation Minister, Shri Neeraj Bharati and Shri Vinay Kumar, Chief Parliamentary Secretaries, Shri Mansa Ram, Shri Jagjivan Pal, Shri Sohan Lal, Shri Rohti Thakur, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Shri Sanjay Rattan, Shri Yadvinder Goma, all MLAs, Shri Hardeep Singh Baba, Chairman, Labour Welfare Board and Shri Kewal Singh Pathania, Vice Chairman, HRTC were also present on the occasion among others.
