Shemrock School distributed books, stationery, swing, toys at Anganwadi students

Shemrock  Senior Secondary School , Mohali distributed clothes ,books , stationery , swing , toys  and other items of necessity in under privileged and poor children at Anganwadi ,sector 80 , Mohali . Apart from this , teachers have also shown a puppet show to Anganwadi kids depicting personal hygiene and good manners.While speaking at the moment, Director Education of the school Air Comd.(Rtd)  S.K. Sharma said that Shemrock is working to ensure literacy for all sections of the society. They are helping as facilitators by providing free books and stationery to the students and are preaching students to help the needy. He advised the students also to work hard to excel in their studies to make fruitful contributions to society when they grew up . Vice Chairman   Karan Bajwa   said it was critically important that no student should be denied education due to economic reason. He further added that awareness should be created among the people for initiating efforts to educate  children of  low-income people which will help them to shine in life .
