Former Chairman PSC meets Governor N. N. Vohra

Mohd. Shafi Pandit, former Chairman, J&K Public Service Commission (PSC), called on Governor N. N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today. Sh. Pandit informed the Governor about the results so far achieved and the activities being presently undertaken by the institution being run by him to provide coaching to students who are preparing for the Civil Services Examination and for admission to IITs. This coaching centre has been set up under the aegis of the Govt of India’s scheme for promoting the interests of the minority communities. The Governor urged Sh. Pandit to continue his endeavours for promoting the career prospects of youth in every possible manner.
