BSF soldier killed in cross border firing

A Border Security Force man was killed in Cross Border firing along Line of Control in Samba district of Jammu Division on Thursday morning.   Army sources said that Pakistani Rangers attacked a patrol party of BSF at Mangu Check Post along Line of Control in Samba killing one BSF soldier. The deceased soldier has been identified as Constable Tapan Mandal of 173 Battalion Border Security Force. (CNS)
