Mega Awareness Camp Cum Loan Mela held in Kulgam

Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) in collaboration with District Administration and JK Bank today organized a Mega Awareness Camp Cum Loan Mela here in the premises of DC Office Complex Kulgam district. The Day Long Programme was organized for un-employed educated youth of Kulgam district. The Hon’ble MP Raja Saba Mr. Nazir Ahmad Laway was the chief guest on the occasion besides MLA Kulgam Mr. M.Y.Tarigami , MLA Noorababd Mr.Abdul Majeed Padder, Director JKEDI Dr. Mr. M.I.Parray, DDC Kulgam Mr. Talat Parveez(KAS) also attended the programme. During the programme large number of unemployment youth particularly college pass outs were eager about the programme got registered themselves with EDI. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Mr. N.A.Laway thanked the JKEDI and District Administration for holding such a mega programme for the first time in District Kulgam. He requested the youth to get registered and receive necessary professional training from the said Institute so that they become self reliant and won’t hanker a[er government jobs. Eelier the Director JKEDI Dr. M.I.Parray in his welcome address thanked all the participants for participation particularly the youth of District Kulgam. He spoke on length about the schemes and venture sponsored by JKEDI. “Youth needs to change their mind set for geng absorbed in private sector” he added. During the programme the number budding entrepreneurs shared their success stories who have established their units which are going proper training and financial assistance from JKEDI. Others who were present on the occasion includes all the district officers, Principals of GDC’s, ITI’s, HSS’s and other institutions.
