11 modern Bus stands constructed in the State : G.S. Bali

Transport Minister G.S. Bali said that as many as 11 new Bus stands equipped with  modern facilities were completed in his present tenure in the State at Chamba with Rs. 4.50, Sangla Rs. 80 lakh, Dulehar Rs. 2.90 crore, Nurpur Rs. 1.40 crore, Kotli Rs. 3.40 crore, Chirgaon Rs. 2.40 frore, Rohru Rs. 10.50 crore, Nagrota-Bagwan Rs. 4.40 crore, Mandi phase-II 3 crore,  Baroh Rs. 1.55 crore and Chintpurni with Rs. 30 crore, workshop Una Rs. 2.30 crore, workshop Nagrota-Bagwan Rs. 4.86 crore.Presiding over meeting of Bus Adda Management Authority, here today he said construction of Theog, Nirmand, Swarghat and Sunni Bus stands would be completed in next 20 days by spending Rs. 18.80 crore. The construction work of Una, Dharamshala and Kullu bus stands would be completed within one year on PPP mode. He said that the renovation and  up-gradation of all old Bus stands in the State was being under taken in a phased manner.Minister said all new bus stands were being outfitted with modern amenities like air conditioned waiting rooms for ladies with attached toilets, baby feeding area and children play area. CCTVs will be fitted at the entry point of the waiting room to ensure safety. He said bigger LED screen will be installed at bus stand Shimla, Kangra, Nagrota Bagwan and Mandi. He informed that Rajiv Thalli scheme at Rs. 25/- was being implemented successfully at various places in the State.
