Virbhadra Singh announces PHC at Bagipul, up-gradation of various schemes

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh announced mega sops for Bagipul in Nirmand Block of Anni assembly segment in Kullu district while addressing a public meeting at Bagipul.He announced a Primary Health Centre to be opened at Bagipul, Luhri, Urtu and at Ghattu. He also announced Veterinary dispensary at Bagipul, inspection hut and construction of science block in Government Senior Secondary School at Bagipul. He announced up-gradation of Government High School Sarahan to GSSS, Government Primary School, Chamrala to Middle School and Government Middle School Laral to Government High School, besides up-gradation of GHS Remu to GSSS.The Chief Minister said a survey would be conducted for Sarahan-Bathahad road, which was important from tourism point of view and would also facilitate the pilgrims visiting Shrikhand Mahadev. 

He directed to complete the work on remaining two kilometres portion of Bagipul-Jaon-Tharala road and to speed up the work on Bijhri-Maghed road.Later at Arsu, in Nirmand Block, the Chief Minister announced starting of Music, Geography and Sanskrit classes in GSSS, Arsu.DCC President Shri Budhi Singh Thakur thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning various developmental projects for the area and taking a decision for providing a sum of Rs. 10 lakh for Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra from Kullu Dussehra funds. Chief Parliamentary Secretary Shri Nand Lal, MLA Shri Khoob Ram, former Member of Parliament Smt. Pratibha Singh, Chairman APMC Kullu Shri Upendarkant Mishra, Vice-Chairman HPSIDC Shri Atul Sharma, Chairperson DCC (women) Smt. Geetanjali Kashyap, Member BoD MILKFED Shri Kulwant Kashyap were also present on the occasion amongst others.
