Govt committed to make Chrar-e-Sharief a model constituency: Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura

Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today said that Government is committed to make Chrar-e-Sharief a model constituency.He said that Government has embarked a massive developmental programme to build new roads, bridges and other infrastructure in Char-e-Sharif constituency.Addressing a public gathering at Chrar-e-Sharief, the Minister said that State Government has undertaken a massive developmental programme in entire the State in general and Chrar-e-Sharief constituency in particular by constructing bridges, roads, schools, hospitals and other public importance projects for the benefit common people.Hanjura said that a massive road connectivity programme has been started in the constituency. He added that under the road connectivity programme all the main roads and the internal roads are being macadamized and the remaining will be macadamized in coming days.The Minister said that Char-e-Sharif Tulsara road, Ropora-Wagan Via Langara road, Nagam Takya- Char-e-Sharif Via Hapatnar, Chrawana, Bonhar, Bashnar, Dadompora, Mukam road would be taken up under NABARD funding.

The Agriculture Minister said that un-employment is a biggest challenge of the State youth and to tackle the issue under the leadership the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti the Government is trying hard to explore all possibilities wherein the unemployed youth will be absorbed both in government as well as in private sector on fast track basis.The Minister also directed the concerned to take up repair work of roads wherever is necessary to improve the connectivity.Hanjura said that electricity infrastructure has also been upgraded by installation of transformers in his constituency.He also highlighted the importance of the sustained development of the historic town and said several flagship programmes in different sectors have been undertaken to make the Charar-i-Sharief a model town.The locals in the area put forward their problems with the Minister who assured them that their genuine demands and grievances would be resolved as early as possible.
