Virbhadra Singh lays foundation stone of CHC at Shoghi

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today inaugurated Science block building of Government Senior Secondary completed with an outlay of Rs. 1.89 crore and laid foundation of Community Health Centre at Shoghi   in Shimla Rural assembly constituency.He announced that CHC will have facility of 30 beds and work on its construction would be started soon. He said additional block of GSSS Shoghi would be constructed to facilitate the students. He directed to education department to fill up post of Music teacher and along-with providing musical instruments.Addressing on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Shimla Rural constituency has witnessed unprecedented development in all sectors during the regime of the present government. Special emphasis has been given for construction of roads, opening health and educational institutions and providing drinking water and irrigation facilities. He said a major drinking water supply scheme from Sainj khud covering 39 panchayats of the constituency has recently been dedicated to the people. Degree colleges have been opened at Sunni and at 16 Mile besides a large number of high and senior secondary schools to facilitate the students of rural areas. Likewise, various health institutes and several other important institutions have also come during this period.He said three Industrial Training Institutes (ITI’s) have been opened in the constituency to facilitate the youth in getting technical education and finding employment and self-employment avenues.Shri Virbhadra Singh announced a sum of rupees 10,000 to the children of Shogi school for promotion of cultural activities.
