Anjum Fazili conducts Srinagar City tour

Announces Rs 10 lakh for developmental works

Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ms. Anjum Fazili today conducted extensive tour Srinagar city and took stock of pace of progress on developmental works being executed by various executing agencies.During the tour, she visited Shaheen Mohalla, Thakur Mohalla, Noorbagh, Syed Mansur, Dana Mazar, Zaldagar and Habba Kadal areas of the city.Interacting with the locals, the MLA said that the government is committed to provide basic amenities to the people and overall development of the State, adding that various initiatives have been taken in this regard. She said that results of developmental initiatives taken by the present government are witnessing on ground. Calling for speed up the pace of work for ensuring timely completion of works, the MLA announced Rs. 10 lakh out of her Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to complete the ongoing works on lanes and drains.Visiting the Dana Mazar Syed Mansur, the MLA inspected the work on construction of boundary wall of local graveyard and other works. She directed the concerned executing agency for ensuring their timely completion strictly adhering with the use of quality material. She said that after completion of ongoing works in area more developmental works would be taken into hand.Extending gratitude to MLA for taking initiative to constructed the lanes and drains in the area, the locals also projected some demands.Responding to demands, the MLA assured that their genuine demands would be fulfilled in phased manner.
