District Development Commissioner, Tariq Hussain Ganai today convened a meeting of officers to review the progress of ongoing major projects and status of Land acquisition for construction of various roads and building  by the different departments in district.Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vivek Puri, Chief Planning Officer,  Uttam Singh, SDMs,   XEn PWD, PMGSY,    CEO, CMO, and officers and engineers of different agencies were  attended the meeting.DDC directed the all land acquisition collectors to take up all pending and new land compensation cases in next Private Negotiation Committee (PNC) meeting to be held soon for taking amicable results so that development works can be completed without any delay.During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the project wise progress of construction works of buildings, roads and other development projects being executed by the PWD, PMGSY, NABARD, JK housing Board, Police Housing Corporation, JKPCC and other construction agencies.During the meeting, the officers concerned briefed the status of all the projects sanctioned of departments  under district as well as state and center sponsored  schemes .Meanwhile, the DDC also reviewed the progress of ongoing construction works of major developmental projects in the district including GDC Gool and Banihal, Polytechnic College Ramban Chanderkot, Health institutions buildings, ANMT School Ramban, school buildings under RMSA under various education flagship schemes. He stressed upon the officers to expedite the ongoing work being taken up by them and directed them to complete the same in stipulated time frame.
