A Former PEC Professor joined Aryans College of Engineering as Director

Renowned Technocrat Dr. P.B. Mahapatra former HOD in Mechanical department of PEC University and alumnus of IIT Kharagpur has joined Chandigarh Based , Aryans College of Engineering (ACE) as Director.

Giving this information to Press ,Dr Anshu Kataria Chairman of Aryans Group of Colleges said, “We are very happy with the joining of renowned academician, Researcher, Administrator, Consultant and Author.” Dr Anshu Kataria further added that joining of Dr P.B.Mahapatra will not only strengthen the mechanical department of Aryans College of Engineering rather it will strengthen the entire Aryans Group.

It is to be mentioned that Dr Mahapatra joined IIT Kharagpur for M.Tech (Mechanical) in 1970. He did his doctorate from Punjab University in 1985. He served in PEC for around 40years at various positions. His area of specialization is Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Quality Engineering, Computer Programming and applications. He has organized many conference, seminars and short term courses and has authored around 8 books. 

He has guided many research projects and has published a series of papers in national and International Journals and conferences. He also worked as a reviewer for the International ASME Conference, 2009.

Mr.Chandrma Singh Registrar of Aryans Group of Colleges while welcoming Dr. Mahapatra said that Aryan Group of Colleges will be immensely benefited because joining of such a renowned academician.

The other senior staff member of Aryans Including Prof. D.C. Kataria, Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Dr. Parveen Kataria, Dr. K.K Mangla, Dr. A.S. Balgir also express pleasure over joining of Dr. Mahapatra.
