Case lodged against people who uploaded, shared ‘seditious’ video on social media: Police

Police in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday said a case has been registered against people who uploaded and shared a “seditious” video on social networking websites.“Some anti-nation elements have shared an anti-national and seditious video claiming to be shot in Murran Chowk Pulwama today on social networking sites,” said a spokesman.“The claim is baseless and as such is refuted.”He said a case has also been lodged against the people who uploaded and shared the video.The video, apparently from last year, shows young kids parading during a function to mark the Independence Day of Pakistan.
