Complete shutdown being observed in Kupwara, Curfew like Ristrictions imposed

A complete shutdown is being observed in Kupwara against a plea in the Supreme Court seeking abrogation of Article 35-A which confers special rights on J&K’s permanent residents.The call for shutdown was issued by Joint Resistance Leadership against “assault” on state’s special status and “efforts” to abrogate Article 35-A.In kupwara, all shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.Reports of shutdown were received from whole of the  districts in north kashmir .
