MLA Ramban distributes sanction letters among PMAY beneficiaries

Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Langeh today handed over the sanction letters to 19 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for starting construction of houses under Housing for all (Urban) mission in Ramban town.Speaking on the occasion MLA said that HFA is a Programme launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA), in mission mode, which envisions provision of Housing for All by 2022, when the Nation completes 75 years of its Independence.He further said that mission has been taken up by the government in state to address the housing requirement of urban poor including slum dwellers through various  programs including  In Situ Redevelopment, Credit Link Subsidy Scheme, Affordable Housing Through Partnership and  Beneficiary Led Construction  either new or enhancement.The MLA assured that the all left out homeless  would also be covered  under these  schemes soon. He also directed the EO MC Ramban to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of town.
