12-year-old girl among two killed as pine tree falls on car in Phalgam

Two persons including a teenager girl were killed after a pine tree fell on a vehicle in Phalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday afternoon.A police officer told news agency GNS that three persons including a teenager girl sustained serious injuries after the tree fell on the car (JK01W-8167) at Betab Valley in Phalgam.All the injured were shifted to nearby hospital where doctors after given first aid referred all the injured to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.However, two among the injured succumbed in Srinagar hospital.The official identified the deceased as Uzama Hameed (12), D/o Ab Hameed R/o Kandizal Pampore Pulwama and Hilal Bhat (34) S/o Abdul Razak R/o Bemina Srinagar.
