Aam Aadmi Party state president and Member of Parliament from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann on Sunday criticized Captain Amrinder Singh led Punjab government for not being serious about the depleting situation of law and order in state. Mann said that rather than taking correcting measures, Captain Government is busy in framing AAP leaders in bogus cases.Mann said that people are being killed in broad day light in state and criminals are posting videos on social media challenging police to arrest them but Police are behaving like a spectator. He said that a false case was registered against AAP MLAs in minutes even without knowing the facts.Taking about the day light killing of industrialist in Jaiton, Mann said that denial of Police to provide security to the deceased even after repeated complaints shows that Police are working under the pressure. He said that common people are even shying away from registering complaints with the police because of unnecessarily involvement of politicians in the working of police.

Mann said that thousands of complaints are lying pending with the police because of political pressure in the state.Mann said that Captain Amrinder Singh is boasting about bringing industry in the state but has failed miserably in providing security to the existing industrialists in the state. Mann questioned that who would invest in the state if the businessmen have no security to their lives and police fails to catch the criminals. Commenting on the absence of Captain Amrinder Singh from state, Mann said that only God can save such state whose Home minister has not visited the state in last four months.   Reacting sharply on implicating AAP MLA from Ropar Amarjit Singh Sandhoa in a false case, Mann said that Captain Government in state has started working on the footsteps of BJP government at centre to threaten the opponents with false cases. He said that AAP will not bow down with such political motivated cases and continue to raise the voice of common people.
