CGC Jhanjeri Celebrated Teej , Cultural Events organized by the Department of Fashion Technology

Teej Festival was celebrated by Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri with great pomp & show. The staff & students of Fashion Technology Dept. arranged a number of cultural events in tune with this festival. Young enthusiastic students beaming with joy and were looking confident to win the competition. The girls enjoyed traditional swings and folk songs. Traditional Dress Competition and Mehndi Rachao were adjudged the best events. In Traditional Dress Competition Tamanna, Aarti and Satwinder and in Mehndi Rachao Ramandeep Kaur, Mandeep Kaur as well as Riya and Rajni won first, second & third prizes respectively. In a message, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC conveyed his best wishes to the staff & students of CGC on this festival.  He added that since the students of Fashion Technology are extremely brilliant, they have a bright future in store for them. He apprised students for making it memorable.He also urged the students to give special care to the cleanliness of the surrounding during monsoon.
