DDC Kupwara holds Awami Durbar at Vilgam

As a part of Public Contact Program formulated by the District Administration to inquire about the facilities and availability of essential services to the public and redressal of issues, an Awami Durbar was conducted at block headquarter Vilgam of Kupwara district where in the DDC Kupwara Khalid Jahangir participated as Chief Guest.Participants raised various day to day problems especially with regard to Health, Education, Power and Water supply, roads and availability of essentials in the district.The DDC ordered for redressal of various problems on spot and assured them that the problems with regard to different sectors will be solved on priority basis.The respectable of the block had a separate meeting with DDC and other officers to review the issues and demands pointed out by them during the public contact program.DDC Kupwara assured the public that playgrounds would be constructed at Lilam and Punzwa . He directed the concerned agencies to take up the matter on top priority.He also announced that Adhaar cards enrolment process has been started at tehsil levels people should approach the operators deployed for the purpose. The DDC sensitised the public for knowing the implementation of public services guarantee act under which 42 services are being provided by 14 departments to the public at their localities.
