DDC Rajouri reviews progress under PSGA

District Development Commissioner, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, today reviewed the progress achieved by Revenue and Health departments in providing certificates and services to public under Public Service Guarantee Act in a series of camps organized in remote and far flung areas of the district.It was informed that more than 9300 certificates were provided to the people in these camps.Revenue Department has provided 4602 certificates during last three weeks in these camps which included 576 caste certificates, 977 PRCs, 510 RBA/LC certificates, 107 Mutations attested, 993 Revenue Extracts, 277 income certificates, 441 Aadhaar verification, 228 voter inclusion, 71 Marriage certificates, 42 character certificates, 3 dependent certificates, 97 field inquiries, 27 corrections and 250 other certificates. More than 15000-18000 people attended these camps and 617 issues and complaints related to various other services were resolved.Health Department provided 4768 certificates and services in these camps which included 67 Disability Certificate, 32 Medical Illness certificate, 83 Medical fitness certificate, 645 Old age certificate, 51 widow certificate, 3853 Medical checkup certificate and 26 grievances disposed. Meanwhile 7449 persons were enrolled or educated about various schemes and provisions. 

District Administration launched a series of camps in June first week to provide various services at doorsteps of public in remote and far flung areas.During the month of June 2017, a total of 7648 certificates were provided by Revenue Department while 1788 applications were disposed off while 18,000 certificates have been provided by the health department till now.DDC complimented the field officers of Revenue and Health Department for outstanding efforts in efficient public service delivery at village level and setting record of distribution of maximum certificates in a short time.Pertinently, the District Administration has also launched a series of public awareness camps being jointly organized by various departments for education, awareness and greater public participation and benefits under centrally sponsored schemes.
