V.P. Singh Badnore Releases A Book ‘Marching With A Billion’ Authored By Uday Mahukar

The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore on Friday said that Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi was leaving nothing unturned to ensure that India grows in an inclusive manner. “The motto of sub ka sath sub ka vikas is a pointer to the fact that the current NDA Government at the Center is wholeheartedly working for the overall growth and development of all sections of the Society, he said while speaking at the launch of ‘Marching with a Billion’ a book written by noted journalist Mr. Uday Mahukar at Punjab Raj Bhavan.Lauding the efforts of Mr Mahukar, Shri Badnore said that the book was an example of the fact of how effectively the NDA Government was working at the center under the leadership of Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. Shri Badnore also appreciated the efforts of Dr Subash Sharma, Director Center for Economic Policy Research, Chandigarh, for organising the panel discussion on the performance of NDA Government in the past three years.

Participating in the panel discussion, Lt. Gen. (Retd) KJ Singh said that the NDA Government was working in a focused manner while Mr. Sanjay Tandon of the BJP said that the current Central Government was working for the betterment of the people on the margins. Former Education Minister of Punjab, Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema said that Modi Government has strengthened the spirit of federalism in the country. Mr. Mahurkar in his remarks said that the Modi Government was particular about delivery of services. While moderating the programme, Dr. Sharma said that the Modi Government was working with a focus on economic and financial empowerment of the masses.Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion  included Himachal Pradesh Governor, Dr. Devvrat Archarya, Mr. Asha Jaiswal, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, Rana KP Singh, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Mr. Dinesh Sharma, General Secretary BJP Punjab, Mr. Som Parkash, MLA, Punjab, Former Punjab Minister, Mr. Tikshan Sood and others.
