DDC tours Ramban town, inspects development works

District Development Commissioner, Tariq Hussain Ganai today conducted   an extensive tour of Ramban town and reviewed development activities besides taking stock of problems being faced by the people.He was accompanied by EO Municipality Ramban besides officers of various departments.DDC directed the EO and other concerned officers to keep the town neat and clean besides ensuring its beautification in a planned manner.DDC inspected various markets, lanes and drains of the town. He expressed displeasure over poor condition of drainage system in the area. He directed the concerned authorities to renovate lanes and drains in the area as early as possible.He also instructed the Municipal authorities to remove the encroachments on lanes and roads so that the drainage system is improved and maintained.Meanwhile, the DDC directed concerned officers to conduct market checking to curb the menace of black marketing, hoarding and food adulteration in the district.DDC also interacted with the people and listened to their grievances and demands.He instructed the officers to take necessary steps for mitigating the problems of the people.The DDC appealed the people to keep town clean and green for a good environment.
