Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday demanded from Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh to clear his stand about Congress leader Sarwan Singh Phillaur who was charge sheeted in 6000 crores drug scandal and to mark a time bound inquiry against Bikram Singh Majithia and MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh for their involvement in the case.In a joint statement, AAP Punjab Co-President Aman Arora and Deputy Leader of opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sarabjit Kaur Manuke said that it is the time for Captain to prove that he is against drug paddlers and stands by his statement to wipe out drugs from the state in one month.  Arora said that the fresh challan filed by enforcement directorate against Sarwan Singh Phillaur and Former Akali Minister, Avinash Chander proves that Congress and Akali leaders are equally involved in the drug trade.Arora and Manuke said that enforcement directorate had grilled Bikram Singh Majithia and Chaudhary Santokh Singh in the case. At that time the demand of CBI inquiry raised by then state congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa was opposed by Captain Amrinder Singh saying that the state police and agencies are capable enough to solve the case. “Captain Amrinder has got an opportunity to prove his stand against drugs and ask state police and agencies to inquire the drug case of 6000 crores rupees without any poliytical pressure as all the agencies and state police now report to Captain Amrinder only.” said Arora. He said that the prime accused in the case Jagdish Bhola had alleged Bikram Majithia of being the kingpin in the drug trade in state so it is important to mark an inquiry against Majithia. Moreover cabinet minister had leveled serious allegations against Majithia.
