Chief Secretary, DGP visit Budgam to review developmental works

Chief Secretary B B Vyas today visited Sheikhpora Migrant Colony Budgam to review the pace of various developmental works presently underway in the Colony.He was accompanied by Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid. The Chief Secretary gave on spot directions regarding availability of the basic facilities particularly the supply of drinking water, power, road connectivity, and sanitation.During the visit, Chief Secretary was assured that proactive measures have been initiated to do the needful in the fixed timeframe. Later, both the CS and DGP convened a meeting at DC Office Budgam to take stock of the implementation of various developmental and welfare schemes in the district.Among others, DC Budgam, SSP Budgam, concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
