Directs district administration to assess losses to farmers

Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, has expressed concern over the damage to crops and losses to apple growers and farmers from last night’s hailstorm at Kanidajan, Pakherpora, Taripora, Fresdab and other areas of the Chrar-e-Shareef constituency.The Minister has directed the district administration to immediately start fieldwork to assess the losses to farmers in the constituency. He said that the Government will provide all possible help to farmers.Pertinently, fruit trees and other standing crops suffered damage due to last nights hailstorm in the area.
