District Administration Rajouri notifies schedule for Mega Awareness Camps

District Administration, Rajouri has notified mega camps for awareness of general public on various Centrally Sponsored Schemes, State Government Schemes, Services under Public Services Guarantee Act and provisions of the Right to Information act besides grievances redressal. The camps will be headed by Deputy Commissioner, ADDC, ADC and SDMs. On 20 June a camp will be organised at Thanamandi, on 29 June at Nowshera, on 3 July at Sunderbani, on 11 July at Koteranka, 14 July at Manjakote and 20 July at Kalakote. The programmes will be coordinated by BDOs and Tehsildars.These camps will highlight provisions of various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojna, Krishi Sinchaye Jojna, PMUY,SBM, Make in India,  DDUGVY, Pension schemes, scholarship schemes, welfare and developmental schemes being implemented by more than a dozen departments. The camps will also carry out enrolment under schemes. A number of schemes aimed at entrepreneurship, skill development and specific plan will also be highlighted to showcase the development interventions of Government and to disseminate information to masses for maximum benefits under these schemes. 

District Officers of all the departments and resource persons will brief about the schemes, objectives, provisions and achievements. Issues related to implementation of schemes in remote and far flung areas will also be discussed.It is pertinent to mention here that on the initiative of DDC Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, district administration has already launched a massive programme of 112 PSGA camps in this month under which 4896 certificates have already been provided in last two weeks which include 584 Caste certificates, 915 Permanent Resident Certificates, 565 RBA/ALC certificates, 307 Mutations, 856 Revenue Extracts, 233 Income Certificates and 81 marriage registrations.In order to education people about their right a series of camps are aimed at provisions of Right to Information Act , public review and feedback about its implementation and creating awareness.As a part of ongoing PSGA camps SDM Thanamandi organised a camp at Saim Samat while SDM Sunderbani organised a camp at village Nah where more than 300 certificates were provided by both the officers.
