AAP to organize State wide Stir, if Congress fails to fulfill promises - Arvind Kejriwal

Will reach out to the disgruntled volunteers of the party - Bhagwant Mann

Aam Aadmi Party's National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with the entire Punjab leadership paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib on martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji before attending interaction meet with the volunteers at Amritsar which witnessed a remarkable participation. Interacting with the volunteers Kejriwal said that Guru Arjan Dev Ji sacrificed his life for the sake of entire humanity selflessly. AAP has been formed with an aim to cleanse the corrupt administrative and political system and we will be continue our fight selflessly with a sole aim of public welfare.  While expressing his views, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said that though the results of Punjab Assembly elections were not upto the expectations but still people of Punjab have chosen Aam Aadmi Party to represent them as major opposition party and AAP will will ensure complete justice with this role. He said that the restructuring of the organization of the party in Punjab is in the process which will be completed very soon. In the new structure, booth inchrages will be in most powerful position as they are people who interact with the people on daily basis and eventually play a major role in garnering votes for party candidates. While speaking in favour of volunteers Kejriwal said that the volunteers are the backbone of the party and their works should be done on priority by the party MLAs but he also appealed the volunteers to refer genuine cases that actually need support. Taking a jibe at Capt Amarinder Singh, Kejriwal said that Congress had promised jobs and free smart phones for the youths in its manifesto but the promises still remain undelivered. While the Congress government promised 100% debt waiver for farmers, now it has taken a U-turn from this statement also. In such circumstances, when congress government is unable to stand by its promises, it is imperative that Capt. Amarinder Singh seeks public apology or face state wide stir by Aam Aadmi Party.

Bhagwant Mann, State President of the party said that people of Punjab have chosen 20 MLAs of AAP to represent them in the Vidhan Sabha which is a matter of appreciation and AAP will certainly perform its duty of watchdog as main opposition party with utmost sincerity. He said that it is a matter of pride that an unemployed lineman who faced the government ire for 10 years now sits ahead of the chairs allotted to Badals. Mann said that the party is going through a phase of transformation and a refined structure of the party will soon be introduced in the State. He said that he will not hesitate to approach the disgruntled volunteers of the party and anybody is free to approach him anytime for the welfare of the party . Leader of Opposition H.S. Phoolka said that the team of MLAs are performing their duties with honesty and will not let the Congress government to divert its stand from the promises made during the elections. Phoolka said that AAP leadership has the will to work at grassroot which is clear from the fact that the 88% students of government schools in Delhi have passed 10+2 results as compared to 79% of private schools.  Sukhpal Khaira  MLA said that the deadline given by AAP to Capt. Amarinder Singh for taking action against its MLA Rana Gurjit Singh has ended and the party would gehrao the CM residence tomorrow to ensure justice. On this occasion, Co-President Aman Arora, Prof. Sadhu Singh MP,  Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Kultar Singh Sidhwan and other MLAs of the party were present.
