LCET organized plantation drive to save earth & seminar conducted to save environment

Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology, Katani Kalan organized  the plantation drive in its campus. At this moment, collage making  & poster making competition was also organized in campus hall .   Vijay Gupta, Chairman, Dr. Pawan Kumar, Principal, Dr. J.S. Sohal, Director. Head of all the Departments, faculty members and students also participated in this planation.While inaugurating the venture by planting a tree Chairman Gupta said that we should be concerned to save our environment.  He further added that it is high time to save the earth otherwise coming generation will have to face dire consequences.

LCET every year plants many  saplings , which would not only  beautify the surroundings but also lead to a greener, more eco-friendly and pollution-free environment. Dr. Pawan Kumar added that  main aim of organizing this drive was to make the students aware about the hazards of pollution and the need for planting more trees so as to save our Earth .  He further also promoted the usage of paper bags and make city plastic free. With a motive to sensitize people about the dangers being faced by the green planet, students took a pledge to make the city plastic free.
