DDC inspects school, hospital at Ramban

To check punctuality of employees and take stock of service delivery system, District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today conducted surprise visits at District Hospital, Trauma Centre and Government Higher Secondary School Ramban here today.During the inspection, two doctors of DH Ramban including Dental Surgeon and Ophthalmologist Surgeon were found absent from duty and were placed under suspension with immediate effect.At Trauma Centre and District Hospital, the DDC interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them. He directed Medical Superintendent to provide better facilities to the patients besides minimizing the referral system. Later, DDC visited Government Higher Secondary School Ramban and checked the attendance of teachers. He assessed staff position in the school, accommodation, drinking water and toilet facilities. He stressed upon the teachers to ensure that the children are provided quality education.He also impressed upon the students to make cleanliness and sanitation for healthy lifestyle. He advised them to join Swachh Baharat Abhiyaan and keep their school and surroundings neat and clean.
