Six of marriage party dead, 20 injured as tractor-trolley overturns

At least six persons died and over 20 were injured when a tractor-trolley carrying a marriage party overturned on Tuesday in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.The incident took place in Parol village under Karahal Police Station of the district, said Station In-charge Sunil Sharma."The ill-fated tractor-trolley was on way to Bhotupur from Bheemlat village, with nearly 30 members of the marriage party onboard. Six of them died and over 20 were injured," Sharma said.The marriage party of one Giriraj from Bhotupur had gone to Bheemlat on Monday and were returning after the wedding ceremony on Tuesday morning when the incident took place.According to eyewitnesses, on their return journey, someone switched on the hydraulic system of the tractor-trolley, which therefore got imbalanced and overturned.
