Ajay Nanda kick starts works of PMGSY road at Pouni

Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today said that concerted efforts are on to expand the road network under PMGSY  to ensure better connectivity with  villages and small habitations.The Minister said this after he kick  started the  construction work of PMGSY road from Danga to Manghai in Pouni involving estimated cost of Rs. 163.68 lakhs connecting several small hamlets. The Minister said that improving road connectivity and providing all other basic amenities to the people is the prime focus of the government and an equitable development of the areas shall be ensured.Minister said the synergized efforts are being put to effectively implement the welfare programmes and policies with active public participation for overall development of the state Interacting with locals, Ajay Nanda said the Government is fully committed to fulfill developmental aspirations of all the three regions of the state and strenuous efforts are being made to provide best of amenities to the people. He also passed instructions to the executing agency to expedite  the pace of ongoing  work so that it is completed at an earliest and people of remote village get relief .
