Enraged over mutilation of the bodies of two BSF jawans in Kashmir by Pakistan army, the Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha along with the local residents of the city staged a protest. The protest was held at Madhya Marg, at the roundabout of sector 7,8,19,18, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh. The entire country is outraged by the Pakistan’s cowardice by mutilating the bodies of our two Jawans. The effigy of the Pakistan was also burnt. While addressing, President BJYM Chandigarh, Mr. Gaurav Goel paid rich tribute to the jawans who attained martyrdom in their line of duty. “Pakistan is a rogue state and we all should come out in support of our soldiers who are facing difficult time yet standing like a rock to defend our motherland in Kashmir” this was said by the Gaurav Goel, while expressing his views over the recent episode of mutilating the bodies of soldiers. He further said that Pakistan army act like professional killers who have no sense of war ethics which they have proved time & again.

Right from Capt Saurabh Kalia during kargil war to Sh. Prem Sagar and Sh. Paramjeet Singh whose bodies were beheaded by Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) yesterday, which had laid an ambush over 250 metres deep inside the Indian territory, Pakistan’s act was barbaric & inhumane. The protest was lead by State General Secretaries of BJYM Mehakveer Sandhu & Amandeep Singh. It is to be noted that head constable Prem Sagar who was with the 200th Battalion of the BSF and Indian Army's Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh were a part of a joint patrol team inspecting the border area to check the veracity of an intelligence report that landmines had been planted there by Pakistani troops. The other members who came out to register their protest were Kripyanand Thakur & Naresh Arora (Vice Presidents BJYM, Chandigarh) Suresh Chaudhary, Abhay Jha & Birender Singh (State Secretary) and Navjivan, Piyush, Jasmandeep Singh, Varinder (District Presidents BJYM, Chandigarh). People from other parts of the city also participated, raised slogans with posters, banners & burn the effigies of Pakistan & Pakistan flag. They urged government to take revenge of fallen soldiers. Another surgical strike on a larger scale should be followed this time, people said.
