KNS organizes blood donation camp at SDH Pattan

Kashmir News Service (KNS) in collaboration with Sub District Hospital Pattan and District hospital Baramulla Tuesday organized a blood donation camp at SDH Pattan.The hospital employees, students and volunteers donated their blood in the camp.Block Medical Officer (BMO) Pattan, Dr Manzoor Ahmad Hakeem including staff, in charge Blood Bank District Hospital Baramulla, Dr Reyaz Ahmad War and the blood bank staff were present on the occasion.According to Dr Reyaz Ahmad War, as many as 45 donor’s including pharmaceutical and medical representatives, volunteers and respected citizens of the area donated their blood.Dr Reyaz also deliberated upon service of mankind and appreciated the volunteers participated in the camp.“We are highly grateful to all donors who donated blood”, he said. The donors urged to organize more such camps in the future.Speaking on the occasion, the organizer of the camp, Muhammad Lateef Bhat highlighted the significance of organizing such camps and said that the KNS will organize these camps in future as it proves very helpful to the needy.Meanwhile, KNS Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat thanked the donors who donated their blood in the camp and said that such camps would be organized in the future as well.Locals appreciated the role played by the KNS, a news organization.
