Dr. Ambedkar was man of age : Acharya Devvrat

Governor Acharya Devvrat today said Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R Ambedkar was not only the man of age and builder of Indian Constitution but also the creator of social justice and betterment of the downtrodden. Dr. Ambedkar spent his whole life fighting against social discrimination and the Indian caste system.The Governor was presiding over a function organised by Shri Guru Ravidad Mahasabha on the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R Ambedkar at Una.He said Baba Saheb's name will be written in golden letters in the history of India as a creator of social justice.  In true sense, he gave democratic and anti-caste aim. He spent his whole life for the betterment of the poor, exploited, untouchables and troubled classes.Acharya Devvrat said that Indian religion did not differentiate between humans. 

The God had not formulated any cast based system and neither was it mentioned in our Shastras or Vedas but it was during the middle age that few hypocrites established this system in the society for their ulterior motives.The caste system was actually a scientific order based on Karma, not on the basis of birth but few people defined it in their own way.The Governor expressed happiness that today untouchables were well aware of their rights and they were getting good education and excelling well in different fields. He said any discrimination in the name caste would not be tolerated in Himachal Pradesh in temples or educational institutes.On the demand of the Mahasabha, the Governor he announced to provide financial assistance of rupees one lakh to a person suffering from kidney ailment.President of Una unit of Shri Guru Ravidad Mahasabha Shri Naresh Advocate also spoke on the occasion.
