Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology, Katani Kalian organized intensive workshop on employability and entrepreneurship development. The theme of this workshop was transforming high potential youth into high performing youth leaders. Kiran Kurwade, an International Corporate Trainer and Life Coach was key note speaker at this moment. Prof. Prateek Kalia, Dr. Pawan Kumar, Dr. JS Sohal & many other well-known personalities from the field of academics as well as industry covered a range of topics commencing with meaning of employability and employer expectation. While speaking at the moment  chairman LCET Vijay Gupta encouraged students to start own small business. First discussion on Career Opportunities like Product design, Product analysis, Product manufacturing, Product quality check  Draughtsman, Production engineer,   Tool Designer etc. were discussed. Next discussion was about opportunities of the sectors for aerospace & defence, automotive & transportation , consumer products , oil & gas Industries , alternate energy , industrial machinery. Apart from this topics like Engineering Design Centre,  Validation, Mechanical Design Industry were covered . View point on Demand vs. Skill were also discussed at the moment . At the end Popular Emerging Trend were also discussed.
