Slamming the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for importing RSS to Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and MLC G N Monga today said by conceding Kashmir based upper house seats to the BJP, the PDP has provided enough space to RSS in the state. In a statement to KNS, he said “Earlier also the PDP facilitated the entry of RSS backed BJP to Kashmir by conceding Upper House seats to Surinder Ambardar. Now today another Valley based Upper House seat has been conceded to the BJP’s Girdhari Lal Raina. Both Ambardar and Raina are close to RSS and its affiliates.”“There can’t be enough evidence than this that PDP is providing space to RSS in the State and taking directives from its Chief Mohan Bagwat, who happens to be the real architect of ‘Agenda of Alliance’ between PDP and BJP. PDP stands exposed for facilitating the RSS to spread its tentacles. PDP will have to answer people for backstabbing and betraying them for the sake of coming into the power after securing votes,” the Congress leader said.

Monga, who is also Congress party’s incharge for Srinagar Parliament seat for the upcoming by-polls, urged people to exercise their democratic right carefully and vote for State Congress President G A Mir in Anantnag and National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah in Srinagar.“Fascist forces have no place in Kashmir that has been abode of saints and sages for centuries. We cannot allow communal forces to take centre-stage in a place known for its composite culture. “The unholy alliance of PDP and BJP has brought only miseries and destruction for the people of the state who will teach them a lesson in the by-elections,” he said. The State Congress Vice President also blamed the PDP-BJP government for creating hostile situation ahead of the Parliament by-elections. “The present dispensation wants that voters should stay away from the polling booths as they have sensed the mood of people. Since the dates for by-elections have been announced, an environment of fear and chaos has been created in Kashmir,” he added. (KNS)
