Youth National Conference (YNC) on Saturday launched a scathing attack against the BJP-PDP coalition, stating that it hasn’t left a single stone unturned to crush Jammu and Kashmir’s Muslim majority character.Addressing poll rallies in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal, YNC president Salman Sagar , accompanied by MLA Ganderbal Shiekh Ishfaq Jabar, said the PDP is acting as a second fiddle to RSS and is hell- bent to erode the Muslim Majority status of Jammu and Kashmir. He added that from cabinet to other government decisions, it is RSS from Nagpur which is ruling the roost behind the curtains while PDD is implementing the anti-Muslim programs of Sang Parivar on ground. “No one can deny the fact that Jammu and Kashmir is the only Muslim Majority state of India and therefore the cabinet should have been with Muslims in majority. Today, what is astonishing for one and all is to see the cabinet composition. Muslims ministers are less in number and it is enough hint of what Jammu and Kashmir is treading towards,” Salman said while addressing people in Ganderbal. The YNC president added that the people during coming polls have to give befitting reply to the PDP and it would automatically mean RSS’s defeat in Jammu and Kashmir. “Otherwise, the situation is such that the day is not far when Muslim Kashmir will become hub of RSS and its people in RSS shots will saunter the streets of Valley sans any fear,” Salman said, adding that every Muslim is duty bound today to safeguard the unique character of Kashmir- known for being the place of Sufis and saints, the place where Awliyas have worked tirelessly to enlighten people. Others YNC leaders who addressed people in Ganderbal on Saturday include Adv Neelofar, Sabiha qadri , Abid Wani , Mohammad Irfan Zahgeer, Mushtaq Mir, Zubair Fayaz, Asif Zargar and Bilal Dar. (KNS)
