Inquiry Commission must be formed to look into the irregularities of previous governments- AAP

AAM Aadmi Party and Lok Insaaf Party alliance on Wednesday demanded in the vidhan sabha that the government must form an inquiry commission to investigate the financial and other irregularities done by the previous governments in Punjab.AAP leader and leader of opposition in vidhan sabha, Adv. H.S. Phoolka demanded that a period of 20 years should be covered in the white paper to be released by Punjab government so that the people can analyze the performance of all ruling parties of that period. He said that the government should not wait for the release of white paper but the inquiry commission must start its work of investigation as soon as possible. Opposing partisan and autocratic behavior of the speaker in seat distribution to AAP and LIP, the member raised slogans against the chair and sat in the well of vidhan sabha.The chief whip of AAP in vidhan sabha, Sukhpal Singh Khaira said that Punjab is under debt of Rs. 2 Lakh Crores due to the corrupt practices adopted by previous governments and few political families. He demanded that a committee under the chairmanship of High Court Judge should be formed to look into the matter related to sand, land, transport, cable and liquor mafia operated during last 10 years of rule in the state.Khaira opposed the unnecessarily appointments of advisers by Captain Amrinder Singh and giving them ranks of ministers. He said that Captain is going against his own commitment of adopting austerity measures to strengthen the financial situation of state.

Government scared of AAP-LIP alliance- Phoolka

Reacting sharply on the issue of speaker’s denial to give time to speak to Bains brothers, Adv. Phoolka said that the government is scared of the alliance so the members of the alliance parties are not allowed to sit together in the assembly. He said that the congress government knows that the opposition will force the government to fulfill the promises made to the people of state. Addressing the media H.S. Phoolka, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Kanwar Sandhu and Simarjeet Singh Bains accused government of disrespecting the legacy of house and adopting dictatorial measures. Khaira said that Congress has adopted Akali culture within days of the formation of government in state.
